Rebecca Davis is a recent transplant to Colorado. After leaving her native D.C., she found herself living in Chicago, where she fell in love with Pilates and out of love with old dance injuries. She then became a poor (yet happy) theatre teaching artist in Kentucky and in D.C., and had nearly forgotten about her love of Pilates until those old dance injuries returned while she was dancing with a company. Rebecca proceeded to get certified in Mat through Balanced Body, and later finished her comprehensive apparatus certification through Core Pilates NYC, an offshoot of Power Pilates, right in the heart of Manhattan. Rebecca has been teaching Pilates since 2010, and is passionate about Joe's work. Rebecca teaches a fun and intense class that is focused on form and fluidity of movement. Shie is working towards her Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) Certification, is a NASM certified personal trainer and an AFAA certified group exercise instructor. Her many various licenses include Zumba, willPower & grace, and Spinning. When not encouraging clients to deepen their abdominals, Rebecca can be found hanging out with her dog, Dakota, performing and teaching theatre to children and adults, and kicking those old dance injuries to the curb.
